Window Cills

Sirch Building Materials are the UK distributor for RBB aluminium, the manufacturers of the original sliding end caps for aluminium window cills.

It is recognised that using windows with face fixed cills ensures that waterproofing between the window frame and the structure of the building before the outer facade is installed - whether that facade is insulation, brick, boarding or render.

Using aluminium cills can result in thermal expansion and contraction of the cill causing a bridge in the connection between the cill and the facade. 

The RAG2 from RBB allows the aluminium cill to expand into the end cap - thus making sure that no problematic cracking occurs at this vital connection. 

RBB have a full range of cills and end caps for every situation. There are four standard colours but you can order virtually any colour you want and any shape of cill to suit your individual needs.
